The 7th and 8th grade Jazz Ensemble is currently meeting on Tuesday mornings in preparation for the Kahler Jazz Festival on May 8. They are perfecting their jazz technique and beginning to learn basic improvisation concepts.
The 6th grade Jazz Ensemble has just begun, and students are already diving into basic jazz technique, jazz literature, and jazz listening. The group meets on Thursday mornings at 7:30am and is open to any sixth grader on any instrument.
