On March 15, the 8th Grade Band was awarded with a Gold Rating at the Indiana State School Music AssociationŐs annual Jr. High/Middle School Organizational Festival in LaPorte, IN. Their accomplishment is very exciting as this was Clark Middle School's first trip ever to the festival.
8th Grade Band is currently preparing for the May 21st Spring Concert. The program slated for the concert includes a beautiful ballad by Frank Ticheli, a salute to the cartoons of yesterday, and an exciting overture entitled Stormchasers.
